These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to uruxpat.com and all services provided through our WordPress-powered platform.

By using UruXpat, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

Member – Any user who creates an account or accesses member-only content.

Listed Service / Service Provider – Any individual, freelancer, professional, or business listed in the Local Business Directory.

Contributor – Any individual who submits original content to Community Insights.

Content – Any text, images, graphics, or materials on the platform.

2. General Use of the Platform

2.1 Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old.

2.2 WordPress Accounts

Some features require creating a WordPress account. Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information

• Protect login credentials

• Not share access with others

2.3 Comments & Forms

When using forms or interactive features, you agree not to:

• Post unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or misleading content

• Spam or advertise unrelated services

• Misrepresent your identity or qualifications

2.4 Accuracy of Information

UruXpat aims to provide accurate content but cannot guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. Users are responsible for verifying important information directly with service providers or official authorities.

2.5 No Legal, Immigration, Tax, or Professional Advice

UruXpat does not provide legal, immigration, tax, financial, medical, or professional advice. All information on the platform is for general informational purposes only. You should consult qualified professionals for specific guidance.

2.6 Resources & Community Disclaimer

The Resources section of UruXpat is created and maintained by expats for expats. UruXpat, its owners, and its contributors are not lawyers, accountants, migration agents, government representatives, or licensed professionals, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

All information shared in the Resources section is based on personal experiences and community contributions and is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, official, or professional advice of any kind.

Immigration, residency, legal, and administrative requirements may vary depending on an individual’s country of origin, personal circumstances, and changes in regulations. Members may leave feedback about Listed Services. Feedback must be:

• Honest

• Respectful

• Based on personal experience

UruXpat may contact a Service Provider about feedback and may remove listings to protect community trust. We do not share a member’s identity without written consent.

4. Local Business Directory Terms (Listed Services)

4.1 Eligibility

The directory is open to:

• Registered companies

• Unipersonales

• Freelancers

• Independent professionals

• Individuals offering services or community support

A registered business is not required, as long as the service is legitimate and aligned with community standards.

4.2 Listing Responsibilities

Service Providers are responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate and updated listing information

• Describing services honestly

• Providing valid contact information

• Managing communication, pricing, payments, and delivery of services

UruXpat does not mediate disputes or participate in transactions.

4.3 Listing Content

Submitted listing content must:

• Be original

• Accurately describe the service

• Avoid false or misleading claims

• Avoid infringing on third-party rights

4.4 Feedback & Issue Handling

If UruXpat receives concerns about a listing, we may:

• Contact the Service Provider

• Request clarification

• Suggest corrections

• Remove or suspend the listing

Refunds do not apply. Listing options (free or paid) may vary according to UruXpat’s policies.

4.5 Removal

Listings may be removed at any time if they:

• Violate these Terms

• Mislead users

• Receive credible reports of harmful behavior

• Harm community integrity

5. Community Insights – Contributor Terms

5.1 Ownership & License

Contributors retain ownership of their work. By submitting content, you grant UruXpat a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, format, and promote it.

5.2 Submission Standards

Contributor content must be:

• Original

• Factually accurate

• Respectful and culturally appropriate

• Non-defamatory

• Free of undisclosed commercial intent

5.3 Editorial Rights

UruXpat may:

• Edit for clarity, grammar, or formatting

• Add internal links

• Decline submissions

Unless otherwise stated, contributions are voluntary and unpaid.

6. Intellectual Property

UruXpat owns the design, branding, layout, and original platform content. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute materials without permission.

7. Third-Party Links

UruXpat may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for:

• External content

• Third-party policies

• Accuracy or reliability of outside information

Users should review the privacy and terms of the linked sites.

8. Privacy & Cookies

Use of UruXpat is governed by our Privacy Policy, including:
